Mango Shake or Mango Milkshake is a perfect summer drink that is refreshing yet perfect for those who have a sweet tooth. This is made with fresh ripe mangoes which not only cools you down but also fills your hungry tummy. Mango Milkshake has a very cooling effect on your body which is very much needed on a hot summer day. You can make this shake creamy, luscious, and thick or you can also make it simple and light just like the homemade ones.

INGREDIENTS:

  • Ripe mangoes (chopped) – 1 ½ to 2 cups
  • Milk (chilled) – 1 to 1 ½ cups
  • Vanilla extract – 1 ½ tsp
  • Vanilla ice cream – 4 scoops
  • Sugar or honey (skip if using ice cream) – 2 tbsp
  • Nuts (sliced or chopped to garnish) – 2 tbsp

PREPARATION:

  1. Wash the mangoes under clean water and peel them. Chop them into small pieces.
  2. If you are making a milkshake without ice cream and want a chilled shake then you can put the mangoes in the fridge for a few hours.

PROCESS:

  1. Add all the ingredients mentioned above in a blender and blend until smooth. NOTE: Skip sugar if using ice cream.
  2. Taste the blended mango shake and add more mangoes or milk according to your preference and blend smooth.
  3. Serve the Mango Milkshake with ice cubes, a scoop of ice cream, and garnish with chopped nuts.
