Eggless Chocolate Cupcakes are everyone’s favorite and these are made with simple ingredients like all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, milk, sugar, etc. Homemade eggless chocolate cupcakes are very easy to make and undoubtedly more delicious than the mixtures available in the market. Eggless chocolate cupcakes can also be made in the oven but today I’m going to share a recipe that you can easily make without the oven.

INGREDIENTS:

  • All-purpose flour(maida) - ¾  cup
  • Sugar - ½ cup
  • Milk - ⅓ cup
  • Cooking oil - ¼ cup
  • Baking soda - ½ tsp
  • Coffee mixed with warm water - 2 tsp
  • Baking powder - 1 tsp
  • Salt - ¼ tsp
  • Vanilla essence - 1 tsp
  • Yogurt - ⅓  cup
  • Cocoa powder - ¼ cup

PREPARATION:

  1. In a large bowl add milk and cooking oil. Mix well with the help of a whisker.
  2. Add coffee water, vanilla essence, yogurt, and sugar. Whisk well until the sugar is dissolved completely.
  3. Place a sieve over the bowl. Add all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cocoa powder and sieve nicely. Mix everything. The batter should not be too flowy or too stiff.


PROCESS FOR MAKING CUPCAKES WITHOUT OVEN:

  1. Place a wide pan on the gas stove with the lid on and heat over medium flame for 5 minutes.
  2. Spread butter or vegetable oil in a small heatproof bowl and sprinkle maida on it.
  3. Then pour the cupcake batter into the bowl. Fill only halfway.
  4. When the pot is hot enough, put a stand inside and place a small heatproof plate on it.
  5. Place batter-filled cups into it. Cover and simmer over medium flame for 15-20 minutes.
  6. After 20 minutes insert a toothpick to check, if it comes out clean, the cake is cooked.
  7. Once it has cooled down, frost with your favorite frosting and top with powdered sugar if desired and enjoy!
