PROCESS:
HOW TO STEAM MOMOS:
- For steaming the chicken momos, you can either use a steamer or an idly stand but here I have used a different method in case you don’t have either of these two.
- Take a deep pan or a kadhai and fill it with 1 cup of water and place a wire stand into it.
- Cover the kadhai and boil the water for 5 minutes on low heat.
- Now take a steel bowl or heatproof utensils smaller than the kadhai or pan so that it can be easily placed inside the kadhai.
- Grease the steel bowl/heatproof utensil with 2 tsp vegetable oil to avoid sticking the momos to the pan.
- Arrange the momos and give enough space between every momo.
- When the water will start boiling, put the momo-filled bowl/utensil on the wire stand inside the kadhai. Tightly cover the kadhai.
- Let the momos steam on low flame for about 15-20 minutes. After 15-20 minutes, carefully check the momos and take them out from the kadhai.
- Serve it with hot and spicy chili garlic chutney.
